One of the best things our past partner, Oz Thorson, did was hire Hovey Brom. Hovey has not only contributed to our early impact on the Cedar Valley, but he’s been an inspiration to all staff since he was hired in 1952 after studying at Iowa State University. His passion and ability to listen and dream with a client created beautiful designs and even better relationships. He often notes that many of his best friends were his clients. It’s no surprise Hovey quickly became a partner in 1957 and, while he retired his partnership in 1990, he is still devoted to the firm and joins the team almost every day in the office. Hovey keeps the firm’s history alive through stories of the projects, people and moments that define INVISION.
