Hands-On Experience & Opportunities

Throughout your internship, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Create graphics for presentations
  • Support master planning documentation and participate in meetings
  • Assist with construction document preparation
  • Join site visits to observe project progress
  • Attend construction meetings and gain firsthand industry insight
  • Provide photography support for projects
  • Take on additional tasks to enhance your skills and experience
  • Engage with our Internal Committees

Guidance and Mentorship

Throughout your internship, you will work closely with studio members in various roles, gaining exposure to different perspectives and approaches. Our team understands that you are here to learn — you’re not expected to know everything right away. That’s why we’re here to guide you, answer your questions, and help you grow throughout the program.

Each studio member you work with will act as a mentor, offering support, encouragement, and insight as you navigate your internship. From sharing real-world experiences to providing constructive feedback, our goal is to help you build confidence, refine your skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the profession.

You will have the opportunity to attend a partner/principal luncheon where firm strategy and operations are discussed, participate in a new hire panel to learn about the transition from college to full-time work, and present your work in a final presentation highlighting your contributions over the summer. This is a space where curiosity is celebrated, mistakes are part of learning, and collaboration fuels growth. You’ll be surrounded by a team that’s genuinely invested in your success and excited to help you take the next step in your career

Our Culture

At the heart of our culture is a strong sense of collaboration, support, and celebrating each other’s successes. Whether it’s hitting a project milestone or celebrating personal achievements, we take the time to recognize and uplift one another.

Our team loves connecting both in and outside the office, whether it’s through happy hours, team events, or celebrations. From games to marking major milestones, these moments help build stronger relationships and make work more meaningful. Every year, we come together for a company-wide retreat, where team members from all our offices meet in person to bond, collaborate, and strengthen relationships through shared experiences and team-building activities.

At the core of everything we do is a commitment to supporting one another through challenges and celebrating each other’s wins. We believe that a connected, supportive team leads to better outcomes, happier people, and a more fulfilling workplace for everyone.

From Interns to Full-Time Employees

I wanted to stay with INVISION post-grad, primarily because it seems like a big family here. Everyone is eager to support me and answer my questions as I have them since I am just starting my career.”
