Marketing/Business Development Team Vision
To be the trusted partner and go-to marketing/business development resource for our studio members, inspiring excellence in design through cutting-edge marketing strategies.
Position Responsibilities
- Schedule/manage social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
- Create written content (both with studio staff and self-generated) that engages our audiences, builds brand awareness and helps the firm maintain a dynamic online presence
- Storyboard, shoot and edit video content for website and social media channels
- Assists with planning and coordinating photography shoots, as needed.
- Formats, files and tags photography in the Digital Asset Management system.
- Embrace and implement brand standards
- Assist with graphic design collateral
- Monitor online and print sources, including newspapers, magazines, and blogs
- Track media kits and opportunity deadlines; maintain list of editorial contacts and publications
- Handle requested edits to press releases and article drafts
- Assist architecturally led team with coordination of awards competition entries; ensure compliance with award requirements
- Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of firm’s practice, clientele and goals for execution of collateral
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. College degree is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the A/E/C or related industry preferred
- Self-motivated and self-starter attitude.
- Detail-oriented, including superb proofreading and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe InDesign required
- Knowledge of Sharepoint, Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset preferred
- Understanding of basic marketing fundamentals
- Basic understanding of the principles of layout and graphics as they relate to the development of marketing and sales collateral
- Excellent time and project management skills, passion for details and ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy
